'Cobra' box office collection day 6: Chiyaan Vikram starrer holds strong in Kerala

'Cobra' starring Chiyaan Vikram in the lead role has hit the theatres last week, and the much-awaited film was released for the occasion of Vinayaka Chaturthi. The mixed reviews made the film face ups and downs at the box office and Vikram's stardom holds the film well. Now, the latest update on the 'Cobra' box office collection day 6 is that Chiyaan Vikram proves his strength in Kerala. Chiyaan Vikram is one of the Tamil stars, who has a huge fan following in Kerala, and it can be witnessed from the videos and pictures of the actor from the Kochi visit during the 'Cobra' promotions. The report about the 'Cobra' Kerala collection reconfirms it as the film grossed over Rs 3.5 crores in 6 days to become the third highest Tamil grosser of 2022 in the neighboring state.

Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram' and Vijay's 'Beast' stand at one and two, while Chiyaan Vikram's 'Cobra' surpassed Suriya's 'Etharkkum Thunindhavan' and Ajith' 'Valimai' to achieve the third position in quick time. The overall collection of 'Cobra' stands around Rs 56 crores and the film's final verdict will be decided on the response in the upcoming days.

Directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, 'Cobra' features Chiyaan Vikram in a dual role with Srinidhi Shetty, Mirnalni Ravi, Meenakshi, Irfan Pathan, KS Ravi Kumar, Roshan Mathew, Robo Shankar, Miya Geroge, and Anand Raj in pivotal roles. AR Rahman scored the music, and his background score added more power to the film. The film's runtime of over 3 hours faced criticism, and the makers then trimmed 20 minutes to make the film crisper.
