The science fiction comedy drama 'Ayalaan' was released in theatres on January 12, 2024. Directed by R Ravikumar, the movie stars Sivakarthikeyan, Rakul Preet Singh, Sharad Kelkar, Isha Koppikar, Yogi Babu and Karunakaran among others. The film's music is composed by AR Rahman.

Ayalaan on day 3 made Rs 5.5 crore at the box office leading it to gross Rs 13 crore at the ticket window after the first weekend. According to the reports of Sacnilk, the film on Friday made Rs 3.5 crore and on Saturday made Rs 4.35 crore. The film is showing a steady growth with each day and is expected to gross more than Rs 25 crore by Pongal Holidays.
Ayalaan Movie ReviewThe movie's plot revolves around an Alien that accidentally lands on Earth which soon befriends Tamizh, a happy go young man played by Sivakarthikeyan. He soon learns from the alien named Tatoo about the scientist Aryan who is planning to extract the deadly Nova gas to endanger Earth and the alien along with Sivakarthikeya tries to stop the evil plan and save the planet.
