'Amaran' box office collection day 23: Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi's film hits Rs 200 crore mark in India

Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi starrer 'Amaran' has been performing exceptionally well at the box office since its release on October 31, 2024. The movie is quickly closing a significant milestone in its earnings.

According to trade analyst Sacnilk, 'Amaran' has grossed approximately Rs 199.55 crore in India after 23 days of its release, with the film earning Rs 1.50 crore on its 23rd day, which was a Friday. The film's performance has been impressive, particularly in its third week, where it collected Rs 25.95 crore.

On November 22, the film recorded an overall Tamil occupancy rate of 19.66%, with morning shows at 15.35%, afternoon shows at 16.55%, evening shows at 21.05%, and night shows peaking at 25.68%. Additionally, it had a Telugu occupancy rate of 18.53% on the same day.

Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, is a biographical war drama based on the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan, who was posthumously awarded the Ashoka Chakra for his bravery. The film has received critical acclaim for its storytelling and performances.

It is expected that the film will soon cross the Rs 200 crore mark. 'Amaran' has become the second highest-grossing Tamil film in India after Thalapathy Vijay's 'The Greatest Of All Time'.
