Right Movie Synopsis: An unseen caller seals a Kovalam police station and pushes those inside toward a reckoning tied to a missing son.

Right Movie Review: A laptop voice takes a precinct hostage while the soundtrack takes the audience hostage. Raghuram (Natty), an inspector at the Kovalam station, is out on a security detail when an anonymous MacBook caller claims the building is rigged and seals everyone inside. Sakthivel (Arun Pandian) comes to report his missing son and, along with the others trapped, is forced to follow the caller’s orders as the motive slowly points back to the boy.

The single-location promise needs precise blocking and escalating stakes. Instead, the staging is static, reveals feel telegraphed, and the screenplay pivots toward a predictable social messaging track before looping back to the missing-boy thread. It gets a bit heavy-handed, especially in the second half; the death scene felt forced and preachy, which made it less impactful.

Natty vanishes after the opening and returns later with solid work. Arun Pandian's quirky energy steals the show here. Munnar Ramesh and Thangadurai inject life into what would otherwise be a lifeless police station.

The director's idea is solid enough: trap people in one location, let the pressure do the work, dig into what makes them tick. But the execution stumbles when it can't justify its own setup. The women's safety angle with a politician's son villain? That's textbook lazy writing. The formula's been done to death, and it shows.
