Kabilavasthu Movie Review: Kabilavasthu deals with a relevant issue – that of the lives of platform dwellers who are ignorant about leading their lives. The film follows a documentary style of making throughout – it helps in yielding the required results to the hard-hitting sequences in the movie. The day-to-day issues of platform dwellers, which include their existence, are portrayed in an uncompromising manner. But it is unlikely to engage the viewers as a feature film, thanks to the unimpressive technical aspects. The way the harsh realities are depicted, coupled with over the top performances of various artistes, test the patience of audience after a certain point. Nesam Murali’s acting and some of his dialogues are the saving grace of the film, which is definitely not everyone’s cup of tea. The film would have been more appealing had the loud performances and technical shortcomings were controlled.
