When your bike says ‘I’m leaving you’ at 100 kmph

In what seemed straight out of an action movie – minus the stunt doubles and safety nets – a man in Argentina had his motorcycle stolen… while he was still riding it at 100 kmph. Blink and he lost his bike.

Highway heist, but make it cinematic

On a busy Buenos Aires highway, in an Oscar-worthy action sequence, two thieves pulled up alongside the rider like it was just another Tuesday commute. Just that, everything that happened was real! In seconds, one of them reached over and yanked the key straight out of the ignition – while both bikes were still moving. The engine died, the rider was left confused, and the thieves? Already planning their comeback lap like pros.

Run, don’t ride
The rider did the only thing left – abandon the bike and run. On a highway. Against traffic. Because survival clearly trumps horsepower. Just when it couldn’t get more chaotic, one of the suspects reportedly chased him and even fired a shot – thankfully missing – as he sprinted to safety. The thieves then rode off with the now ownerless bike and are still on the run. The video has since exploded online, leaving bikers both shocked and nervously checking their ignition keys.
