Makers of Netflix’s latest sensation, Scoop, celebrate the success of the web show
Ever since its release on June 2, Scoop has generated a lot of buzz and garnered success. The show is an adaptation of the book ‘Behind Bars in Byculla: My Days in Prison by Jigna Vora’. Exposing the underbelly of crime reporting, the show’s storyline revolves around the time when Jagruti Pathak, a prominent reporter, finds herself to be a suspect in the case of terrible slaying of another journalist.What followed was a leading crime reporter being thrust into a nexus of police, media and the underworld as she fights for justice.
As Scoop captivates the audience’s attention, the show garnered a massive viewership that has propelled the series towards thriving success. Celebrating the journey experienced behind portraying the lead role of the show-Jagruti Pathak, Karishma Tanna credits makers Matchbox Shots for her transformative experience as an actor. The actress expresses gratitude towards Sanjay Routray, Sarita Patil and Dikssha Routray of the production house and acknowledges their guidance and support. She says, “My journey with them is a significant milestone in my career.”
