Rukmini Maitra announces her collaboration with filmmaker Arnab Middya
Rukmini Maitra recently announced that she will be working with filmmaker Arnab Middya in a film that explores the timelessness of love. However, the love it speaks of is not that between a couple, but delves deeper into the theme through spiritual connections that transcend romantic attraction and mutual respect. Named Haati Haati Paa Paa, the film sheds light on aspects of every relationship that are often overlooked.
Talking about her role in the film, Rukmini says, “The film’s storyline struck a chord in my heart. I feel elated to be able to present a film of this kind to the audience. I am sure Arnab will create wonders with the script, and I hope it will touch the audience’s hearts too.”
The film traces the silent and simplistic power of our everyday equations. The characters will be seen trying to strike a balance and questioning whether or not the right amount of love, care and respect to nourish these relationships can be weighed in numbers.
“We have been working on the screenplay and the story of the film for a long time, and the story was written keeping Rukmini in mind. I could see the emotions on her face when I shared the story with her. The film is packed with many surprises that will unfold through the course of the film,” concludes Arnab, who has previously directed films like Sedin Kuyasha Chilo.
