Synopsis: Arabikatha as the title suggests is an Arabian Story. Sreenivasan comes in the lead role of Cuba Mukundan, who has followed his father Society Gopalan into leftist political party. It portrayed the plight of hard core party workers who has party ideologies running through their veins instead blood. But when the leader whom they had followed like a shadow and for whom they had campaigned with vigour, suddenly switches to another party these followers are devastated. They are short of words and become ridiculed among their friends and family.
The lead female is a Chineese lady, Chang Shumin, who meets Cuba Mukundan from the Gulf country where he finds a job after leaving behind his party work. It is mostly a story of a common man. So this will be well received by the Malayalam audience which has strong political roots. This film will have all the real life instances of a Laljose film. This reaches the theatres on July 5th.
