Premiere of 'Matric Fail'

The premiere of Anubhav Mohanty and Barsha Priyadarshini’s “Matric Fail” at a theatre in Cuttack witnessed a frenzy of star-struck movie goers. The crowd went berserk when they spotted the cast members of the movie including newcomer Sonia, Subhashis and Papi Santuka.
When asked whether this movie is a remake of the South film, “Padikathavan”, director Sudhakar Vasanth replied, “My film is not a remake of “Padikathavan” because while writing the script, I’ve also consulted the storyline of some other movies.“Matric Fail” has a lot of humour in it and I’m hoping that Anubhav’s presence will make this film a success."
Anubhav is also very hopeful about the success of the film. “The whole team has worked very hard and they deserve proper appreciation,” said Anubhav. He also seemed very happy with his association with Sudhakar. “It’s not that I am uncomfortable working with any other directors but after working with Sudhakar in “Kiese Dakuchi Kouthi Mate,” I felt that our wavelengths match. Moreover, the audience liked our efforts. So, I hope we’ll continue working together in future,” the actor concluded.
