When Jayam Ravi surprised his fans

Yesterday was an important day in Jayam Ravi’s life. The actor’s romantic entertainer, Engeyum Kadhal with Hansika, directed by Prabhu Deva, hit screens yesterday and Ravi, wanting to get first-hand feedback from the audience, went theatre-hopping.
Ravi visited most of the prominent theatres in the city and interacted with his fans. Upon seeing their hero in flesh and blood, the enthusiastic fans started cheering and whistling for him.Everyone was more than eager to catch a glimpse of the actor and were vying to shake hands with him.
An overwhelmed Ravi, pleasantly surprised by the turnout at the FDFS of his film, said, “I am what I am because of the audience. It’s you who decide the fate of a film. I hope you all enjoy this romantic fare as much as I did shooting for it.”
