Sundays make Anubhav Mohanty nostalgic for his childhood...Gone are the days I grew up in a joint family. So, on Sundays, my brother (Anuprash), my cousins and I would create complete ruckus at home. We used to watch
Mowgli, Talespin and all the other cartoons that were beamed on national television. Then, we would team up to play cricket. It was so much fun. But by the time it was evening, we would all wear long faces.
I guess, by then, we would start feeling the Monday morning blues.
Present tense Now, I have no clue what a Sunday is like. I usually request my producers to give me Sundays off if possible. But, that’s usually never possible. If I’m lucky enough to get a Sunday off once in a while, I spend the whole day at home. When I am home, it is my no-diet day as I throw my diet chart out and eat whatever my mother prepares for me. I also have two dogs — Fanny and Motu. They give me constant company.
Wish I could My idea of a perfect Sunday is to spend the day with my family, preferably somewhere outside India where my parents can have the time of their life. I plan to try out new cuisines and watch the movie of my choice.
