Vijayashanti back to films

Vijayashanti, fondly referred to as the ‘Lady Amitabh of Tollywood’, almost gave up acting to pursue her political career. Now an MP and active supporter of the Telangana movement, the erstwhile diva is all set to face the camera yet again.
Sources say she will act in a film titled “Kolimi” which is based on the Telangana agitation. Actor Sivaji is playing the lead role in this film. What is more interesting is TRS Chief K Chandrasekhar is going to pen the lyrics for a song in this political movie. Nagendra is the director of this film. The movie started shooting at TRS Bhavan in Hyderabad last week and KCR was the chief guest.
