Venkat’s smiling, hair’s why!

Director Venkat Prabhu is one happy man.
While his film with Ajith, Mankatha, has been received well by the audience, Venkat’s also smiling because his cousin, Yuvan Shankar Raja, recently tied the knot in Tirupati.
Venkat and his entourage were staying there for the last few days not only to attend the wedding, but also to fulfill their promise to Lord Balaji.
CT had earlier reported that Venkat would take off to Tirupati after the release of his Mankatha to offer his beard there.Apparently, he had vowed to offer his beard once the film was declared hit. But now, looks like Venkat has offered more than just that. After climbing the hills on foot for a darshan, Venkat offered his hair and gone bald to keep up his vow.
Venkat wrote on his micro-blogging page, “Walked the hill to see Mr Venkat! Now, I’m a mottai boss. Thank you Lord.”
