'Urumi' receives U certification

The film, will be released in more than 70  theatres allover Kerala, on March 31.  Shaji Nadeshan, Santhosh Sivan and PrithvirajSukumaran have produced ‘Urumi’ under the banner of AugustFilms.  The film is directed by Santosh Sivan and scripted by ShankarRamakrishnan. There is a host of actors, Prithviraj, Prabhudeva, Genelia, NithyaMenon, Jagathy Sreekumar, Arya, Tabu, Vidya Balan and some more, who have anoteworthy performance.Santhosh Sivan, one of the producers anddistributors has remarked that the film is meant for the classes and the massessince all the ingredients necessary for box office collections, viz., songs,music, dance, action – have been incorporated in the movie.  Inaddition, the film features many actors from different languages known for richand variegated artistic experience who had given their best in this film. It is a story of love, comraderie and vengeance.  The film deals with thearrival of the first white man on the West Coast carrying gun, canon and otherearly weapons of war.  This film is expected to make waves because of itsperiod relevance connected to different historical dates.Source: Cinefundas.com
