Title trouble for Rettaisuzhi

One of the most talked about films, director Shankar’s home production Rettaisuzhi, written and directed by debutant Thamira, was to be premièred at the ongoing Dubai International Film Festival. But at the last minute, the film was pulled out from the festival.
Though no official reason has been given, the buzz is that there is a dispute over the title of the film.The title (Rettaisuzhi) has been registered by another company which is claiming ownership. We understand that the matter is likely to be sorted out early next week, and the film will hit the screens in January after Bharathiraja completes dubbing. The movie has legendary directors K Balachander and Bharathiraja in lead roles.
