Not so long ago, hundreds of F1TM loving beauties participated in the auditions of Airtel Grid Girls contest. Each one of these beauties aspired to bag the number one position and become the face that 500 million plus F1TM fans worldwide will see, as India flags off its first ever F1TM sporting event — 2011 Formula 1 Airtel Grand Prix of India.Over weeks of challenging tasks that tested their glam quotient and endurance, 12 lucky shortlisted girls were seen battling it out on zoOm’s reality show for that chance of a lifetime to earn the coveted Airtel Grid Girls’ winner’s title.
After being judged by a tough panel of judges (including fashion guru Prasad Bidapa, PFMI Miss International 2011 — Ankita Shorey and many other special judges like Imran Khan, Jimmy Shergill, Dipannita Sharma and Subi Samuel) and gathering public votes — these gorgeous girls have made it to the grand finale of the Airtel Grid Girls hunt. “After weeks of rounds and tasks, the show has now indeed reached a level where the finest of the fine will be handpicked,” said Prasad Bidapa.
