A lot seems to be happening on the sets of 7am Arivu. Director A R Murugadoss and Suriya recently finished shooting the introduction song of the actor. The song, it is said, was shot in almost 40 locations with over a 1,000 dancers. A source close to the unit says, “Murugadoss got around 400 dancers from all the film industries, another 200 dancers who had time to spare and 400 more from dance schools in Chennai.
They had taken special permission from the dancers’ union to rope in students from academies. Dancers who had no projects in hand were so overwhelmed by Murugadoss’s offer that they profusely thanked him and Suriya for giving them a new lease of life.”
The source continues, “A part of the song was shot in the crowded Ranganathan Street with almost eight candid cameras. After some time, the public noticed Suriya was amidst them and started surrounding him. We had to get help from the cops to clear the crowd.”
This song, for which Harris Jayaraj has composed the tune, has been choreographed by Shobhi master.
Meanwhile, we hear that another schedule of the film, probably the last, will be shot from this Sunday in the city. Lead actress Shruti Haasan, who’s debuting with the film in Tamil, will join the unit.
