Gone are the days
My earliest memory of Sundays is having all my family members together at home. We had pakhala with machha bhaja as breakfast. After that, I went to learn Odissi. But all of us made a point to have lunch together. Mom used to make a yummy mutton curry.

Having that with steaming hot rice was my idea of heaven. During the evenings, dad and I went for evening walks and had all kinds of junk food.
Present tense
As soon as I joined the Odia film industry, Sundays have just vanished from my life. If I have any day off, which I consider as Sunday, I spend my day lazing around, helping my mom in cooking and reading the entertainment section of the newspapers. Playing games on my PC is also my favourite pastime.
Wish I could
While I was studying, I missed a lot of opportunities to perform abroad. To me, Hong Kong is the best place in the whole world. So, if I’m given a choice of spending one Sunday in my own way, the first thing I’m going to do is to perform Odissi in Hong Kong. Then I’ll spend a leisurely holiday with my family there. At night, we’ll spend our time watching the skyline that resembles a necklace of glittering stars.
