Sugeeth turns director!

The long-time associate of Mollywood director Kamal, Sugeeth has now turned director. He is currently working on his debut movie, Ordinary.
Ordinary traces the life of a bunch of people in the village of Gavi. A KSRTC bus is the only mode that connects the village with the outside world. One needs to cross seven dams to reach the village. Biju Menon and Kunchacko Boban play the driver and the conductor of the bus, respectively.The story traces their relation with the villagers.
Sugeeth has been associated with Kamal from Gramaphone days and continued till Aagathan. “I have been dreaming about this project for long. It took me four years to come out with the final version,” he says. The cast also includes Asif Ali and Ann Augustin and newcomers Shritha and Vaigha.
Ordinary is produced by N Sudhish and Rajeev Nair. Nishad K Koya and Manu Prasad have penned the screenplay and dialogues. Music is by Vidyasagar and cinematography by Faisal Ali.
The shooting for Ordinary will begin on October 2 at Gavi and neighbouring areas.
