Starry Filmfare night

It was an evening where the bold, the beautiful and the brazen converged to provide spectacular entertainment to mark the 58th Idea Filmfare Awards - South that celebrated creative brilliance and talent in the field of entertainment.
The performances kept audiences glued to the seats as excellence in several categories were recognized. Parthepan, who won the Best Actor Supporting Role for Aayirathil Oruvan, wooed Hyderabadis by delivering a speech in Telugu.

Ramakrishna B, the Chief Operating Officer, Idea Cellular (Andhra Pradesh) gave the award for Best Actor Debut Male to Rana Daggubati.
Sharad Gupta (one of the oldest Idea customers on the Idea Network in AP) gave the award for Best Actress Debut to Samantha Prabhu. It wasn’t just about oomph and glamour as even the technical side of cinema was celebrated. While cinematographer Rathnavelu won an award for his work in Endhiran, Sabu Cyril too bagged honours for the Rajini-starrer. Said Sabu, Having talent is not enough; one should have a right platform to showcase it. Endhiran was one such film that I got.
Tollywood actor Chiranjeevi, had a moment to savour as he won the Lifetime Achievement Award from Bollywood diva Rekha. After giving away the award, the actress said, Please act with me in one Hindi movie and then you can act in a Telugu movie.
