Shraddha Das signs a YVS Choudhary flick

Actress Shraddha Das' last release "Mugguru" might have bombed at the Box Office but it did help her land her dream role! Krishna Vamsi who directed her last flick "Mugguru", recommended the actress to popular filmmaker YVS Choudhary.
The filmmaker recently signed the doe-eyed actress for his next flick "Rey". On Sunday night, the Mumbai-based actress tweeted, "Signed Y.V.S Choudhary sir's film 'Rey' opp Sai dharam tej, Chiranjeevi sir's nephew,playin my dream role of a popstar and diva..excited!"
On enquiring how she landed the role, she informed, "Krishna sir showed YVS Choudhary one of the songs from "Mogudu" and he decided to sign me for his film "Rey".I haven't even met him in person and he sent me the script in Mumbai and I signed the flick. I'm paired opposite Chiranjeevi's nephew Sai Dharam Tej. The shooting begins this month and the film will be shot abroad in United States, Bangkok and the Caribbean."
Shraddha's excitement knew no bound as she will essay her dream role in the flick. "I will be playing the role of the biggest popstar in United States. Apart from that, I'm kicked about the fact that I'm starring in a YVS Choudhary flick and that the role is a meaty one. Meaty roles of substance are rare for actresses in Tollywood. The film will do wonders to my career and take it to a different level," she added.
