Director Seeman, who was arrested under NSA (National Security Act), is cooling his heels in Pondicherry central jail. He had apparently made provocative speech against the government of Sri Lanka, which went against the Indian Foreign Policy. However, Seeman was acting in Maayaandi Kudumbathar before he got entangled in the controversy. The film features 10 directors, including Seeman, Manivannan, Nanda Periyasamy, Ravi Maria, Jagannath and others in the lead and is directed by Rasu Madhuravan.
Now, the producers of the film are in a fix, as everybody other than Seeman has dubbed for the film. If the film has to hit the screen by May as originally planned, Seeman will have to finish his dubbing soon. If sources are to be believed, Rasu is trying to approach the concerned jail authorities and get parole for Seeman, so that he can come out and dub for the film.
