Sarath’s new market

Well, Supreme Star Sarath Kumar has to thank the film Pazhassi Raja, directed by Hariharan, for his popularity in Kerala.
The film, which had Sarath and Mammooty in the lead, became a superhit in Kerala and earned Sarath a huge fan following. And then, there was no stopping him.
Sarath signed up to do two more Malayalam films — Christian Brothers with Mohanlal and Oridathaoru Postman with Kunchacko Boban.
Now, the latest on Sarath is that he’s signed another film in Mollywood, but not in a multi-starrer. Yes, the actor will play the solo lead!
The film, titled Metro, is being directed by debutant Vyasan and is touted to be an action adventure. We hear that Sarath will play a cop in the film, which will also have five fresh faces debuting as actors.
Meanwhile, Sarath is also working on Vidiyal opposite Sneha in Tamil.
