Ramya has gone 'Crazy'

The actress is all set to an item number in her next directed by Kavitha Lankesh
Ramya has gone 'Crazy'
After the success of the ‘diva’ song in “Johnny”, actress Ramya will be seen in a stand-alone item song in “Crazy Loka”.
Directed by Kavitha Lankesh, the film has Ravichandran playing a college-going middle-aged man. The song “Galabe, Galabe” (riot riot) is written by Kaviraj and Kavitha says Ramya has liked it and agreed to be part of the film. Shooting for the song will be held for two days once Ramya returns from her foreign tour. As things stand, she will just be seen only in the song. Though the director wants Ramya to act in a couple of scenes, it is not yet clear if Ramya would agree to the proposal. Sources say that would only be known when the actress lands up for the shoot.
Kannada actresses, unlike their Bollywood counterparts, rarely appear in just item numbers. When Ragini grooved to a song in “Gokula”, she lost her role as heroine. Darshan reportedly got her removed from his film for doing the item song in “Gokula”. The only other actresses to appear in an item song in recent times are Neethu in “Manasaare” and Daisy Bopanna in “Jackpot”.
Kavitha Lankesh, however, has had a good record of coming up with sensuous songs and sequences in her films. Her “Avva” had a kissing scene between Vijay and Smitha, while “Tananam Tananam” had a titillating song, featuring Shaam and Rakshita.
In “Crazy Loka”, Ravichandra, the king of epicurean excesses in Sandalwood, will not be shaking a leg with Ramya.
The actor who will groove with Ramya in the film will by Surya, the newcomer playing Ravichandran’s son.
