Rahman's words of gratitude

He might be a double Oscar winner, but that doesn���t stop AR Rahman from expressing his gratitude to all those who have been a stepping stone to his success.
When Sridhar, father of Haran (who has scored the music for the film Eesa) requested the Mozart of Madras to preside over the film���s audio launch, he gladly accepted. The reason? Rahman was a part of Sridhar���s troupe when he was hardly a 13-year-old.
���This is an occasion to express my heart-felt thanks to Sridhar,��� said Rahman releasing the audio. He also denied rumours that he is planning to shift base abroad. ���I���ve never had such intentions. Even now, I am a part of films by Mani Ratnam, Shankar and Gautam Menon.���
Spotted at the occasion were the film���s hero Vignesh, director Balaganesh, actors Jiiva, Karan, singer Harish Raghavendra and choreographer ���Kadhal��� Kandhas.
