Ra Ra all set to haunt you again

The popular tune from Aptha Mitra will be retained for the film���s sequel too.
The talented late Soundarya will surely be missed in the sequel of Aptha Mitra. But the spirit of Nagavalli, the character Soundarya essayed in the film, will be making a comeback in Aptha Mitra 2, and so will her hit song, Ra Ra.
Guru Kiran, who scored the music for Aptha Mitra, will be composing the music this time too and is currently in Chennai working on the tracks.���In the sequel, Nagavalli���s spirit is still in love with Ramnath (played by Ramesh in the original) and comes back to haunt him. Besides, the song has become synonymous with Nagavalli���s character, so people identify the role with the tune,��� says Guru. ���Also, since the subject demanded it, we decided to retain Ra Ra,��� he adds.
Guru hasn���t zeroed in on a singer yet, and tells us, ���We may approach another singer or we may even keep Nityashree, who sang it previously.��� This time around, Ra Ra will be a newer version, although the feel will remain the same, says Guru. The music director is also scoring five other songs, including classical tunes, mass tracks and a fun number.
Aptha Mitra 2 will star Sahasa Simha Vishnuvardhan, and five other actresses, including Bhavana, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Nikita, Vimala Raman and another face who remains to be finalised. Sources also hint that plans are being made to remake the film in Tamil with Rajnikanth.
