Preetika shoots for her debut film

Kollywood actress Preetika is currently busy shooting her Telugu film debut opposite Varun Sandesh in Hyderabad.
For the movie, which is a love story, there is a scene that required Preetika to gorge on non-vegetarian delicacies. Given that the actress, like her sister Amrita Rao, is a staunch vegetarian, she refused to touch any meat for the shoot. “I gave up eating non-vegetarian food in the sixth grade when my aunt from the US told me about the cruelty animals undergo,” she says. So, how did she get out of her dilemma? It seems the film’s director, Sravan, found a loophole of sorts and got Preetika some veggie khaana that passed off as meat for just that shoot!
