Piaa enters B-town
Kollywood actress Piaa Bajpai is all set to make her debut in Bollywood. But the actress remains hushhush about the project.
“Yes, it’s true that I am doing a Bollywood movie. But I am not allowed to talk about it until the announcement is made by the producers,” says the actress, “All I can say is it involves one of the big production houses in Bollywood.”
She adds, “My producers were looking for a heroine for their next movie and apparently, I matched their expectations. They saw my photos and even some of my videos and liked it.”
Piaa, who debuted in Kollywood with Vijay’s Poi Solla Porom, is excited about this new twist in her career. The pretty lass feels grateful to the Tamil industry for making her a known face in the south. “I got this Bollywood offer only because of my south Indian films,” she says.
The actress says she is also happy that she is doing a movie in her mother tongue. “Though I enjoyed doing Tamil movies, I also wanted to try my luck in Hindi,” she smiles. Piaa is currently in Kerala, shooting for Johny Antony’s Masters. She plays a pivotal role in the film, along with Prithviraj and namma Sasikumar.
