Philanthropic side to Vivekh!

It’s a known fact that Vivekh is an ardent fan of our former president Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. Now, the actor has gone a step ahead by showing his support for declaring Kalam’s birthday as Students’ Day.
“Kalam sir is one person with whom every student can relate to. He has always promoted education for children. That’s the reason why I’m all for celebrating his birthday as Students’ Day,” says Vivekh.
In fact, the actor even held a signature campaign to drive home his point.
“We have started a signature campaign and have tied up with a school to support us for the cause,” he adds.
So, did he wish Kalam on his birthday? “Since Kalam was in Kerala, I couldn’t meet him in person. But, I wished him over the phone. Though he really doesn’t want a day to be celebrated in his name, I’m absolutely keen on it,” he states.
There’s also a philanthropic side to Vivekh. The actor has provided monetary help to Jeeva, a meritorious medical student. “She’s an intelligent girl and I will do all I can to help her complete her studies,” he says.
