Being the bad girl…
I will be playing a negative character in my first movie, Entry, directed by Rajesh Amanakara. It is an out-and-out action-packed movie. Six years in theatre has taught me the essence of acting. Hence I am not keen on doing just glamourous roles. During my first round of audition, they asked me if knew how to ride a bike. When I nodded, they giggled and said, ‘We mean, a guy’s bike.’ They were in for a surprise when I informed them that I knew how to ride bikes and cars and also how to sail a boat! Yet, I gave in an audition for the stunts. Just a bit of polishing by the experts and I’m sure I’ll be geared to be a power-puff girl onscreen.
Malayalam isn’t tough…

I am very happy that the Malayalam film industry has been broadminded in accepting North Indian models and actresses like me. Malayalam films are known to have substance. That probably explains why Mollywood is held in high esteem in Maharashtra too.
