Nandita, Parthepan back together

Actor-director Parthepan is all set to direct a sequel to his hit film, Azhagi, which was directed by Thangar Bachan.
Confirming the news, the actor says, “Thangar and I had plans of doing a sequel to the film. But, it never took off. Now, I’ve got a story that could be an ideal sequel and so, told Thangar about my plans. I will be directing this film, and will show him the final output.
I’ve even sent a one-liner to Nandita Das, who was part of the original. I spoke to her over the phone and she was kicked about acting in the sequel. But since she’s just become a mother, she’s asked me for time, till her child grows a little older. I will soon be finalizing the rest of the cast.”
