Nandaa joins the cop league

Actor Nandaa is basking in the positive response he’s been getting for his performance as a sincere and honest cop in R N R Manohar’s Vellore Mavattam.
“We just came back from Vellore and Puducherry and the response has been tremendous,” he says. Nandaa admits he was scared initially to take up the lead in a cop film. “The full burden of the script was on my character — Muthukumar. It was a huge challenge to look and act tough and stay calm at the same time. But I’m glad I could pull it off. I’m happy to have joined the cop league!” he smiles.
The actor is currently dubbing for Sharada Narayanan’s Thiruppangal. “I’m looking to do meaningful and sensible films. I’m also game for characters with grey shades, like the ones I did in Eeram and Vandhaan Vendraan,” he says.
