My character is not inspired by Krrish or Anniyan: Ajai Rao

In the days since the posters of director Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar's upcoming film with Ajai Rao and Radhika Pandit were splashed across the city, the buzz in Gandhinagar has been about one of Ajai's looks in the film.
Among the many posters of the film is one which has Ajai sporting a getup very similar to Hrithik Roshan's look from Krrish, or for that matter Vikram in Anniyan - an all black attire, cape/trenchcoat and mask included.But the similarity ends there, claims Ajai. According to the actor, the getup is not just for a song sequence. On the contrary, it is a part of his character in the film. "I play a television journalist in the film. The masked getup comes into play everytime I source and present breaking news on TV. The film is primarily about how television media goes all out on some stories to create hype," says Ajai.
Director Nagathihalli too denies any connection between his film and Krrish or Anniyan. "I am presenting an original story and there's no inspiration. Audiences will realize that when they see my film," says Nagathi.
