The Bangalore-based actress, who is now a popular name in Mollywood, returned home to be part of the housewarming party at the late actor Rajkumar’s family home. The palatial house, located in one of Bangalore’s prime localities, was brought down last year, and twin houses have now been built on the same property. “I have been associated with the Rajkumar family since childhood and I have grown up watching the success of a legend like Rajkumar, who has helped the Kannada film industry grow,” says
Meghana, adding, “While stars are known to be more concerned about their own growth, Dr Rajkumar was different.
He would be extra concerned about the cast and crew than about himself and his stardom.”
The twin houses will be occupied by two of Rajkumar’s children,
Raghavendra Rajkumar and Puneet Rajkumar. “The renovated twin houses are elegantly and sophisticatedly built, designed and furnished,” says Meghana, who was also delighted to have met her old pals, including Rajkumar’s daughter
Lakshmi, at the grand do.
Rajkumar’s oldest son, Shivaraj-kumar, does not live with the family. He moved out with his wife and kids many years ago.
