Manikanth Kadri turns music director

Manikanth Kadri, the son of legendary saxophone player Kadri Gopalnath, has gone all out to carve a niche for himself.
It comes as no big surprise that this musician has signed his first Tamil film. “I wanted to gain sufficient experience to reserve my seat in this industry,” he says and informs that the two Tamil films which he had signed earlier never took off.
The yet-to-be titled film has Arulnidhi and Pranitha playing the lead roles.So, how is it to have a legend for a father? “Dad always emphasised that I understand the process of music making. I might have learnt music, but composing is a different ball game.”
