Mani Ratnam’s Bombay was perhaps the last film coming from South India which was based on the issue of the bomb blasts that rocked the city of Mumbai in 1993. And now Mammootty will be seen in a film on the aftermath of the Bombay blasts. However before you think, this is not a sequel to Mani Ratnam’s Bombay, but is about how the lives of two unrelated people change after the blasts.
The film is titled Bombay March 12, 1993 is being directed by Malayalam writer-turned-director Babu Janardhanan. Krishna will be seen alongside Mammoothy in the film. There is also buzz that the film might be shot in Hindi as well.
