Kollywood gears up for a change

The election results are out and Kollywood is gearing up for a change.
In a recent development, the Producers’ Council Chairman Rama Narayanan had resigned. In a press statement, Rama Narayanan has said that he wants to concentrate in filmmaking and being the Chairman he could not hold on to the post if he wants to concentrate in filmmaking.
The FEFSI Chief V.C Guhanathan has also resigned.Soon after submitting his resignation, he had said that the DMK government had helped him a lot and owing to this he was able to devise several welfare measures for the film technicians. But the situation has changed now with the AIADMK coming to power and hence he could not continue to head FEFSI.
