Jiiva in concert

Buoyed by the success of his last film Siva Manasula Sakthi and delighted with the manner in which his next film Kacheri Aarambam (KA) has come out, actor Jiiva seems to brimming with confidence.
KA is a fun film and belongs to the genre that Allu Arjun prefers in Telugu. He possesses good acting, dancing and fighting skills. Everybody likes to be like that. In this film, I’ve fashioned myself on those lines.I’ve got a good character in this film,” he says, even as his eyes sparkle with joy.
The actor can’t stop raving about KA, which is due to hit the screens soon, and takes time to explain his role in the film. “I’ve done films like Raam, Katradhu Tamizh and E. However, this film will be different from them all. It scores high on the entertainment factor primarily because of the character of the hero. In fact, one won’t get tired of his antics because they are so entertaining. This character is so good that he is bound to have your attention as long as he is on screen. Mark my words, you wouldn’t want to miss this film,” he smiles.
However, a source in the film’s unit discloses that the movie will appeal more to the audiences in B and C centres. The source adds, “The hero’s name is Pari and he is known for his generosity. However, when certain people ask him to give up the girl he loves, he doesn’t. His decision stems from his belief that a person who forces a girl to marry against her wishes and a person who gives up a girl who loves him cannot be considered a man. How he fights for his love is what this movie is about.
Kacheri Aaramabam is Jiiva’s second project with Poonam Bajwa. Ask him what makes him work with Poonam again and again and he retorts, “This is just the second time that I’m working with her. Thenavattu with Poonam was a hit. We hope the same combination will be a hit in this film too. She was impressed with her role. We wanted a soft-looking girl for this film and Poonam fit the bill.
Finally, if he had to pick out one factor about the film that would make it stand apart from the rest, what would it be? “It is the climax. Till the pre-climax, it will be fun. But the climax will be completely different. You will have the same tension as you had in Titanic,’’ he signs off.
