Jhilik Bhattacharjee can’t stop gushing about his co-actor Subhashish Mukherjee, who essays her husband’s role in the film, Identity.
Jhilik Bhattacharjee can’t stop gushing about his co-actor Subhashish Mukherjee, who essays her husband’s role in the film, Identity.
“I was all nerves to share the same frame with Subhashishda on the first day of my shoot. But he made things easy and helped me in all possible ways,” says Jhilik. The actor is also part of Sajal Samaddar’s film, Bhalobeshe Dekho Ekbaar, opposite newcomer Raja.
“I play Bristi, a student who falls in love with her teacher. The film shows how Bristi transforms from a chirpy, bubbly girl to a matured woman,” informs the actor.
Jhilik, who was part of Calcutta Times Fresh Face contest, is flooded with offers from the big screen, but she is taking things slowly. “Taking part in this contest made a difference in my life as I didn’t have to approach any director for work. Rather offers have started pouring in.
Talks are on with director Prabir Nandi for his next film. But my dream is to act in a film, where I can flaunt my dancing skills, as I’m a classical dancer.”
