It’s time to steal hearts!

Director Thangar Bachan���s movies have always succeeded in making an impact. And a big one at that.
After having directed impressive trend-setters like Azhagi, Solla Marandha Kadhai, Thendral, Chidambarathil Oru Appasamy, Pallikoodam and Onbathu Roobai Nottu, the man is now busy with Kalavadiya Pozhuthugal.
My audience will not be able to dismiss this movie as the story of just another person that���s happening in a faraway land.Everybody who watches the film will be able to relate to it as it is sure to strike an emotional chord with them,��� he says with much conviction.
There���s a secret lock inside each one of us. This movie will open such locks,��� he reassures and continues, ���My film presents the intricate problems that prevail in a man-woman relationship. Such problems affect married people more.
Apart from the fact that it comes from a director who takes immense pride in his projects, the movie has generated interest for another reason ���that of Prabhu Dheva���s decision to act in it. The director-turned-actor-cum-dancer will be seen sharing screen space with Prakash Raj, Bhoomika Chawla and Inbanila in the film.
Says the director, ���Most people view Prabhu Dheva only as a good dancer. But not many realise that he is also a good actor who has put in commendable effort on earlier occasions. Prabhu Dheva, I think, is determined on making a point with his performance in this movie and I can tell you that his acting efforts will not go unnoticed. This Porchezhiyan (the name of Prabhu Dheva���s character in the movie) will be remembered for a long time as he is a very strong character. The movie has a total of 72 scenes of which, Prabhu Dheva appears in 69.���
Visibly pleased with the efforts of his artistes, the director-cum-cameraman says that all the artistes in this film fit their roles perfectly.
Prabhu Dheva and Prakash Raj are two of the finest artistes I have come across. Both of them are wonderful actors whose full potential hasn���t been made use of by Tamil cinema,��� he says.
Explaining Bhoomika���s role in the film, he says, ���She has done an excellent job in roles that have been given to her in Tamil films. If you���ve observed, the lead female characters in my films are not shy. They are women who fight against life���s problems and society���s injustice. I was supposed to cast Bhoomika in my film Thendral. However, I was unable to do so because of certain date problems. This time, there were no such issues. When I narrated this script to her, Bhoomika simply said yes.
Sources say that the film is on track as 80 percent of it has been completed and the film is expected to be released for Deepavali. One reason for this is the fact that Thangar Bachan is someone who rarely makes changes once he finalises a script.
Says the director, who knows by heart what happens in each scene, ���I have already finished making the entire movie in my heart. Now, my cast and crew are helping me present that story to viewers on screen.���
