Looks like Mollywood is finally taking a detour from regular heroes. Mamas, the director of hit movie ‘Pappi Appacha’ is on the lookout for fresh faces. Not one or two but seven new faces! “I know it’s a huge risk to take seven new faces for the lead roles. I am going ahead with this because the subject demands it,” says the director. “Thankfully, my producer has huge confidence in me.
He is also willing to take up this risk,” he says.
Titled ‘Cinema Company’, the movie revolves around the life of a bunch of youngsters. “It’s about cinema, friendship and dreams,” says Mamas. The movie is being produced by Fareed Khan.
Currently, Mamas is busy with the auditions. It will be held in Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kozhikode. Seven fresh faces - both male and female - would be chosen. Later, they go through a 15-day grooming session and the shooting will commence in October.
Cinema Company will hit the screens by January 2012.
