His recent Birugaali didnt live up to expectations. But if rumours are to be believed, the off-screen relationship between the films director A Harsha and its hero Chetan is more thanda than the films fate at the BO. Industry khabrus told us that not alls well between the duo. But who told you? Nothing of that sort has happened between us, says an alarmed Harsha. But there were lots of industry folks who were going nudge-nudge about his and Chetans stand-off.
I dont understand why such rumours are spread in our industry. Naturally, I cant sit next to Chetan and keep talking to him all the time. Moreover, Chetans a very reserved guy, says Harsha.
So, they didnt have any misunderstandings? Im fine with all artistes and have no problems with anybody, says Harsha. And he has only words of praise for Chetan. I didnt know Chetan had so many admirers. At the rehearsals, so many heroines were after him. I dont want to mention names here, but all of them were telling me that Chetans really hot; theyd observe every detail, including the way he walks and talks. If I knew this earlier, maybe Id have given him more romantic scenes in Birugaali than action sequences!Another story doing the rounds is that Harsha gave more prominence to Sitara Vaidya than the films other heroine Charisma Bhardwaj. Why so? Again, some jobless minds at work. The script demanded that Sitara gets more screen time than Charisma because Charismas role was a cameo and Sitara was the full-fledged heroine of the film, the film-maker says.
