Is Diganth neglecting Sandalwood?

Filmmakers claim the actor is turning his back on the industry
Is Diganth neglecting Sandalwood?
That Diganth randomly commits dates to filmmakers and then messes it all up, is old news.
The actor had, after all, tried to make amends by appointing a manager to manage his calendar. But now, filmmakers say that the actor is giving the industry stepmotherly treatment.
“I had to sack Diganth from my film Anarkali because he didn’t turn up for the shooting.
1x1 polls
After signing just one film in B-town, he seems to have lost interest in Kannada films,” says director Sadukokila.
Producer Kashyap Dakuja was furious after reading reports that quoted Diganth as saying that he was just a supporting actor in Mr Duplicate. “Diganth worked for 21 days on my film. He even took his full remuneration. How can he then say that he’s just done a guest appearance in the film?” he asks.
Diganth, however, maintains that this outburst by filmmakers is uncalled for. “Before committing dates to Sadukokila, I’d explained my schedule to him. But he insisted that I accept the film. Later, he demanded that I give him enough dates to finish the film at one go, which I couldn’t do. So I exited from the project. As for Mr Duplicate, I didn’t say that I had a guest role. I was misquoted. I’ve done films with Yogaraj Bhat and Kodlu Ramakrishna. If I was so unprofessional, producers wouldn’t come back to do films with me, right?” he asks.
