.... says Archana Kavi, who is eyeing her K-Town entry with Aravaan.
Delhi belle Archana Kavi is upbeat about her K-town entry. She will now make her presence felt in Kollywood through acclaimed director Vasanthabalan’s Aravaan. “It’s an epic movie, which happens in the 18th century. I play Pasupathy’s sister, who is bold and expressive.”
The young actress who captured the hearts through her subtle character Kuttimalu in Neelathamara seems to have come a long way.
“I had to do a lot of hard work for Aravaan. We were totally deglamourized. It took me some time to return to the spotlight in a presentable stage,” shares the actress with a laugh.
However, despite the notion that Vasanthabalan is hard to work with, she shares that she thoroughly enjoyed the shoot.
Archana shares K-town beckoned her even before Neelathamara hit the screens, when the posters were released. Yet, she decided to stay back in M-town and learn the tricks of the trade. “Now I am confident to venture out, exploring more possibilities,” she adds. With Aravaan getting ready, she has kept her fingers crossed. “I am waiting to see the response and then I will take up other projects,” says the actress who continues to get offers from Tamil. However, Archana is in no hurry to sign new projects. “I take things very slowly and I am a slow learner,” she says. Doesn’t it affect her choices? “No. I will definitely take up anything that excites me,” she says. The young actress makes it clear that, she is not and doesn’t want to be choos,. “I think I am here to stay for long.” Let’s hope so!
