I am here to stay: Archana Kavi
Delhi belle Archana Kavi is upbeat about her K-town entry. She will soon make her presence felt in Kollywood through director Vasanthabalan's Aravaan. "It's an epic movie set in the 18th century. I play Pasupathy's sister, who is bold and expressive."
The young actress who captured the hearts as Kuttimalu in Neelathamara seems to have come a long way. "I had to do a lot of hard work for Aravaan in which I had a deglamourised role. It took me some time to return to the spotlight in a presentable way," she shares with a laugh. However, despite the notion that Vasanthabalan is hard to work with, she says that she thoroughly enjoyed the shoot.
K-town beckoned Archana even before Neelathamara hit the screens. Yet, she decided to stay back in M-town to learn the tricks of the trade. "Now I am confident to venture out and explore more possibilities."
With Aravaan getting ready, she is keeping her fingers crossed. "I will wait for the response before taking up any other project," says the actress who is already getting many other offers from Tamil. However, Archana is in no hurry to sign new projects. "I will only take up projects that excite me," she signs off.
