He didn’t offer any explanation: Shashank

Poor Shashank. He still doesn���t know what hit him. The Moggina Manasu director was all set to launch his ambitious project with Anniyan girl Sada, when he recently got a call from his producer, G Gangadhar, to drop the film.
I don���t know the exact reason, nor did he offer any explanation. He just said, ���Eega beda sir���,��� says a dejected Shashank.
The director has been working on the action-cum-love story for a while now.���It���s not the cancellation of the film that has upset me. I���m more disappointed because I was very keen on doing this subject. Unlike my previous film Moggina Manasu, it���s a pukka commercial film tailored to suit the audience���s taste,��� he says.
But Shashank says he will never put pressure on his producer to make the film. ���I think he���s busy with the elections because his political interests are top priority now. And I don���t blame him; he���s right in taking up what he believes in. It���s none of my business to interfere in his affairs,��� explains Shashank, adding that all of them, including Sada, himself and the music director, had been paid the advance for the film.
���Now, I���m thinking of approaching other producers to take up my film. But then, I���m sure they���ll all think twice before signing me ��� because my film stars newcomer Deepak, and not a reputed hero. All I can vouch for right now is that the subject will be a definite hit,��� sums up Shashank.
