Now that the much talked-about Randamoozham is off the radar for a while, director Hariharan is geared up for his next venture — Ezhaamathey Varavu. Interestingly, after having worked with two dozen music directors in his stellar career, the director is also set to make his debut as a lyricist and a music composer with the film. “The initial plan was to rope in the late music-director Bombay Ravi. But due to his ill-health then, he couldn’t travel. Instead, he suggested that I do the music myself,” says Hariharan. The National Award-winning director has just finished casting for the flick, which has Indrajith, Narain, Padmapriya, Suresh Krishna, Kavitha Nair and Kanchana along with few new faces. Another highlight is that “a big star,” whose name has been kept under wraps, would also be playing a pivotal character in the flick.
