From dentistry to films: Radhi

Theactress, who, after having impressed audiences with her fine performances infilms, is now again making heads turn with her sterling performance in ShanthiNilayam, a serial that seems to have attracted quite a number ofviewers.What's special about the serial, which is aired on a popular Tamil television channel, is that the actress plays a doctor who runs the hospital in it. And that happens to be a role that is close to Radhi's heart. Says she, “I was studying dentistry before coming to films. So, this role in which I play a doctor is close to my heart. In fact, after quitting films, I returned to Bangalore to complete my education. However, I found dentistry to be saturated and therefore am now pursuing a degree in Genetics.
