Flowing with the tide

Director V Z Durai is taking it upon himself to make sure all the actors in his forthcoming film 6, including Shaam, Poonam Kaur, the lead villain and the child artist, undergo training in workshops before every schedule. And Shaam isn’t complaining.
He says, “The film is being shot sequentially, starting with the opening scene and ending with the climax. So, it’s important for us to get our moods and emotions right.So, these workshops have been extremely helpful. We recently shot in Warangal, Bhopal and other locations where we got the locals to act with us. Even they had to attend workshops because Durai wanted them to be lively on screen.” After a brief schedule in Chennai, the unit will move to Goa in the third week of this month.
“We will also be shooting in Lucknow and Kolkata among other places. The film travels throughout the country and location plays an important role in it,” he informs.
